OOC: I've got a problem at the moment being able to write for NPC's the site says the characters aren't mine. So to bypass this problem. I'll stick this at the top to identify who is writing the post.
Dr Sugar Glass, stood at the top of the stairs which linked Decks 344 and 345, it was an unusual feeling to know that Savage had cleared two whole decks and had made them hers. Taking each step one at a time, Sugar counted them in her head, till her bare feet touched the next deck.
It was how she'd left it. In her mind it was ordered chaos, to anyone else who didn't have her crazy brain, it looked a mess. Rightly so. All her work, private stuff, prized possessions, books, working, not working, dead, not powered, powered and more were occupying tubs, crates, boxes, tubes, refridgerated containers, temperature controlled flasks, sealed crates. Her cat rested on the top of one lightly shifting pile. Not wanting her to fall, Sugar reached up and lifted her down, giving her a gentle cuddle, Sugar waited till she curled herself around her neck.
Moving through the piles of towering chaos, she made her way across to her 'office' and reached for the first of seven crates that sat on her chair. Reaching for the lid, and removing it, she eyed the giant collection of sweets, and reached in making her selection. Sticking the black ball into her mouth, she reached for the large statue shaped lolly container, opened the top of it's head and gently poured the crate of lollies inside. Reaching for the next crate she repeated the steps until the five foot eight tall statute was filled to the brink.
Adjusting the statue she grabbed his twin and began to repeat the process. Once she had all twenty of them filled, she grabbed the trolley and wiggled the six of them onto the trolley and weaved her way to, where they belonged. Coming back to collect another six, and relocating them, repeating the process until she'd moved them all. Nodding, she moved to the next tower of crates and began to unload and move them.
Six hours later and sweaty as heck, she collapsed onto her sofa with a glass of water. Looking around she admired her work, knowing that most people wouldn't be able to see what she'd done, but she could. Finishing her water, she rolled onto her stomach and dragged the neon orange crate towards her. Entering her code, and leant over so it scanned her retina, and the lid slide open. Looking at the ten by ten bright red tiles, Sugar ran her fingers lightly over the curved top, watching as they opened revealing the insect like delivery system that was hidden inside.
Picking up the crate she carried it over to the cube system that was anchored to the wall, and began to transfer the tiles into the correct size cube. These were her prototypes. She stored her prototypes in her lab. Which meant if someone not authorized to enter entered, she could choose what they encountered, and what killed them. Standard or special. Her two decks were filled with a massive amount of her creations.
"Sugar."
"Over here." She called back, identifying the male who owned the voice.
""I see you've made a start." Savage eyed the pile of empty crates.
"Yep." She put her tiny hand in his and let him pull her onto her feet.
"Explain what you decorated Kalkarindji's hull with."
Pulling out a thirty by thirty inch brightly colored neon pink tile, she handed it across to him. "The back of the tile adheres to standard tiles or plates. When they are meshed in place, they turn the same colour as the tile or plate they are covering. Each tile has a flat bottom and a top covered in half egg like shapes. Inside is delivery systems about the size of a cockroach. The one's on the hull deliver a range of different releases. You have BHJ17, BHJ15, BGT11, KBD7734, CDSA6634, LOPE774, ACT95142, WEE919, QSC663665002, QSC663665022, RASK88's and FRYERS0026471's. They are all either defensive or offensive releases. When they are triggered, the top egg-shaped domes will open and release the cockroach shaped release systems." She handed one of the cockroaches to both Savage and Nordic.
"They look exactly like cockroaches." Nordic stated.
"And they'll form patches as they leave the plates. Undetected by ship's systems. They'll land on the hulls of the hostiles. You can release all, or only one type. BHJ17's will make their way between hull plates and pop them off, by injecting a liquid ooze into the grooves. BHJ15's release another liquid and that will dissolve the plates themself. Left long enough the full plates will dissolve. BGT11's will interrupt power systems. It will basically appear as interference in the power flow systems. KBD7734's will target weapon systems and they'll interrupt sequence systems. CDSA6634's will lay a liquid layer over the targets hull plates, that liquid will work it's way into the plated frames, and eat away at the main structure. LOPE774's will attach to the hull plates and over time will increase in size and weight, until they interfere with weight ratio. ACT95142, will lay eggs into plate joins, until the entire ship is covered. Then they'll release whatever it is they're carrying. At the moment, they're carrying a goop which will eat through the outer structure. WEE919's deploy a liquid which will eat through wiring. QSC663665002 and QSC663665022's deploy different liquid explosives, it takes several thousand of them to lay enough to destroy a medium sized ship. You can modify their instructions to target specific areas or systems. RASK88's target gel packs, they release their own gel, which will attack and clump hose packs. FRYERS0026471's are general soldiers, they can be loaded with whatever is required. The one's on Kalk's hull contain tracers, so you can track the ships without their systems registering that that's happening."
Sugar handed them another plate. "This is a INEASE3, I'm suggesting they be installed over every internal wall. The plate itself are a minute honeycomb structure. By adjusting the temperate, they will excrete sedation gas, or whatever gas you want. Turning the air inside the station to an anasetic thereby sending everyone to sleep. Some of the plates contain multiple items. Set the temperature at a certain level, the anasetic gas will be released. Set it at something else and something else will be released. Some carry eleven releases, some carry one. You could do it so it appears something is leaking. It could just be a smell that they release. You can have it bearly there in one area, and enough to drive everyone out in another. Deeton has them in the holding area on the Warlord."
Savage looked at Nordic and smiled. "Would certainly cut down on the men needed."
"That's one way of putting it." He turned back to Sugar. "Can you load them with something to erradicate the pests?"
"Sure." Sugar nodded. "You can have whatever you want loaded. From simply anasetic gas, which knocks them out, to something like UYT00505, which will kill them and have their bodies dissolve. You could load with Beckie's and have them die in intense pain, or turn their brains to mush with Jay's."
"Work with Nordic, Torment, Viv and Jason, I like the idea of being able to not rely on people." Savage stated. "I want the command decks done first."
Sugar nodded.
"I also want them in all TL's."
"They sound like your problem solver on the bride deck." Nordic stated.
"Do it." Savage nodded. "You'll be joining us for dinner. Eight pm."
Sugar knew better to argue.
"And my bands had better be back on." Savage shook his head, when Sugar's eyes went wide and she rubbed at her arms and neck. Watching her bolt for the stairs and the upper level, he lead Nordic out, letting the main doors close after them.
