Road To Recovery
Location: Gorn Homeworld
Timeline: 2 days after Baptism By Fire Event

The crew of the Resolute were separated from the CO and XO. Having crash landed around a forest region next to a waterfall. The small lake had a cave shelter nearby and the Resolute crash site was a few miles away. It's saucer wad visible over a small mountain side as it had crashed and lodged itself into that region.
After the crash, Ardon came too, and tried to find some of his shipmates, but they were gone, so he crawled out of the wreckage and smelled fire. Not an ozone fire but more like a camp fire. He felt his head and realize someone had bandaged him up. He looked around it was a bit different than her expected, this planet was Tau Lacertae IX. Some called it, Gornar. It was the homeworld of the Gorn. He heard flowing water, like a creek or a waterfall. the temperature ws warm a very humid 34 degrees C. he sat down on his back and seemed to pass out again.
Moo hobbled over to the campfire and fell more than sat down. A split immobilized his left leg. The cast-like wrapping was supposed to cut healing time down. It made it impossible to move at any kind of speed. The campfire at the edge of the cave kept them warm, and the lake had various fish in it. There was little fauna and no flora that were dangerous to them. Overall this would be a great vacation spot. The Crashing part was not recommended. So far the three of them were the only survivors. If anybody else made it, they were on their own, until Starfleet sent rescue units. There was enough tritanium in the wreck, that they could build a small ship and escape eventually. This was assuming that they could make the tools necessary to cut and shape the hull into the blocks that they needed. The large pile of supplies that they had stripped off of the aft dorsal section of the would keep them safe for a while, and allow the construction of a large domicile. However long it took to get rescued, they had a prime vacation spot. Booking might be a bit of a problem, they would have to advertise an aggressive homicidal carnivore hunting ground but there were always those who thought that the Gorn just needed a set of cool heads to sit down and reasonable discussion could happen.
Ardon came to again and sat up. looked around again and saw moo over by a fire and slowly made his way over to him.
"Hey Moo you okay?" Ardon asked.
Moo knew better, but the survival time of the aforementioned group of people would be classified as dinner preparation. times. As long as the prospective vacationers brought their own security and reaction force, Everything would be fine. A battalion of Klingons could be recruited it would be a win-win situation. The Klingons would love a vacation like this...
Moo rarely smiled, But this was on of those times. He said, "Well, I was musing about the Possibility of us starting a vacationing enterprise for those determined to put the Gorn in the, [They just need a calm and cooler head to sit down and discuss things reasonably category]. But I did notice there was a Starfleet vessel that had gotten here before us, and a Gorn ship was drifting without power. Someone got here before us, and I think started a fight. But it appeared that they were lunch, and we were dinner. "
Moo did a quick look over of Ardon, then said, "You appear to have been treated, and it was not by me. Did They Captain find you? Or did we have an uninvited guest? They did a good job of the wound on your head."
"I don't know... I woke up in the shuttle, well what's left of it, and crawled out of it when I did, I got maybe ten meters out and passed out again, I only woke up a few moments ago. If I had to guess from the amount of blood, I lost a fair amount and probably have a concussion, and one hell of a headache. I seem to be otherwise whole with the exceptions of bumps and bruises. While a bit dizzy I am starting to come into focus. Can you move? I think we should attempt to scavenge any survival gear we can from the shuttle and try to find some food. I heard a waterfall not to far from here and can smell water. Perhaps if we are lucky we can find a phaser or two as well as a medi-kit and a tricorder. The comm badges still work but I haven't been able to contact anyone yet. We may need to get to higher ground. Good job on that splint by the way," Ardon said..
Moo hobbled to his feet. Walked to the edge of the cave, and started watching the local flora for anything out of the ordinary. He then said, "I don't believe in luck or chance. But we were lucky, the computer said 100% chance of not surviving the landing, when we first entered the atmosphere. I was busy trying to mostly keep the Gorn from shooting life pods, when we entered the atmosphere; My clumsy attempts at helm, were mainly keeping the top Dorsal Phaser arrays pointed at the enemy. It appears that that may be the best re-entry angle to crash on a hostile planet."
‘’Hostile is too harsh a word, Commander’’ Cormac limped closer. His face and hands bore the signs of partial plasma burns. ‘’As far as I know, the Federation is not currently at war with the Klingon empire or its subjects’’. He took a seat on a rock that was specifically placed there and nodded in acknowledgement of the present shipmates of his. In any other situation this could very well have been a normal department heads meeting. ‘’Doctor, could I trouble you to have a look at my left eye when you are feeling better? It just doesn’t seem to want to focus’’. Truly, if not for the combined efforts of a dozen crewmembers who crashed nearby this little safe haven would have been a tomb for the crew of the Resolute.
"Mister Cormac, I am glad that you made it. Let me take a look at those hands" Ardon said.
MOO pulled his pant legs up, reached into his boots, and pulled out two folding blades approximately 25 cm long. Handing one to each officer, he said, "Well, we have a small selection of tools, I have used mine to get firewood.
"Its a good thing you found this Cave, Moo at least shelter wont be a problem for the moment," Ardon said looking around.
Ardon took one of the folding blades and asked is that all we have I could go back to the shuttle try to scavange some equipment, who knows, I may be able to find a medi-kit or a container we could use for water.
Ardon left to try to scavenge what he could.
Moo limped and wandered around in a rough circle. He made his footsteps irregular and attempted to make it look like multiple people were going in different directions. This would give anyone coming here a not accurate picture of just how few of them were here. Then again anyone who was even a decent tracker could tell what he was doing.
It took Ardon about 20 minutes to walk back to the twisted wreckage that was there shuttle it was amazing that anyone could survive the crash. He managed to find a medi-kit, some straps a working tricorder 3 phasers no of which worked, but he did find a toolkit as well. He also found a container that would be suitable for collecting water plus plenty of material for bandages and splints. He brought all that back to the cave and then left to get water, it was only three gallons or so but no one would be dehydrated, He then collected some firewood. While he was down by the water he saw several reptilian crocodile looking things as well as some type of sea turtles. Oddly there we no birds at or mammals at least that he could detect. Psysically he may have looked a little pudgy, but most Bolian's were extremely task focused. and oriented.
"Okay look what I found and there is more stuff," Ardon said running a scan on the water. "It's drinkable," Ardon said.
''That's fortunate mister Ardon, you just solved our number one problem'' Cormac turned his tired gaze towards the still smoking wreckage of the Resolute in the distance. "It is rather strange, I would expect to be rescued at this point. Or captured.'' he said to himself.
"What is even stranger is that when I woke up my head was already bandaged. Was there anyone else in the shuttle with us?" Ardon asked. "Perhaps stowed away, I simply can't remember," Ardon added nonplussed.
Moo turned to see who was speaking, then said, "The last I saw of the captain, He was hauling two injured crewmen to the lifeboats. Then the captain's yacht departed. I could not scan where it went once we entered the atmosphere and turbulence. I was still shooting down torpedos; until sensors and weapons went offline. Right before the Sensors offline; they recorded a massive off-scale graviton surge, and extreme gravity waves impacted us. It felt like a Romulan singularity core imploded. However, I do not have any experience outside of simulations of that."
"I never saw the captain, I was tending sick and injured in the shuttle-bay when there was an explosion someone must have grabbed me an stuffed me into the shuttlecraft, that would explain the bandage anyway. Anyone well enough to go hunting? We are gonna need food, first order of business is survival," Ardon said.
MOO pointed to a coil of vines he had fashioned, and said," I have tried to fashion a snare to capture a medium-sized hare with eight legs, but they ended up trapping me in my own trip wire, so be careful out there... I swear the trixters were laughing at me... Maybe we should entertain them, and they might feed us. I saw them eating some large tubers, but I can't find where they dug them out of the ground. They are clever, possibly mildly sentient."
"Well I for one don't want to eat anything even mildly sentient, There is plenty of greenery around perhaps we can find some of those tubers possibly berries or even make a net to catch fish or whatever this planets translation of that might be." Ardon said.
A brilliant swirl of light coalesced, and the familiar hum of the transporter faded as Admiral Townsend, Lt. Aubrie Fox, and Medical Officer Lt. Lilly Hansen materialized on the rocky surface of the planet. The air was thick with tension and the acrid scent of burnt earth, remnants of a crash that had left the area in disarray.
Townsend's authoritative gaze swept across the ruins of what was once a vibrant outpost. "We got the distress call," he said, his voice firm. "The Gorn have been put off for now. We’ve got to get you out while we can."
"SSir", Moo said, "We have a head wound, and plasma burns to be evac'd. We have not heard of the status of the captian!"
Situs forced himself to speak up. The crash and the elements already took most of his strength away. If not for his colleague's efforts he would already be dead like so many of the crew already. He could feel his breath diminishing as he spoke.
''Moo the Captain must still be in the wreck, we cant-''
That was the last thing he could remember from the evacuation
Moo said," The captain would have been the Captain's Yacht. It departed safely and was not destroyed for at least ten minutes. I did not see where it went, but no federations ships or pods were destroyed while I was busy killing torpedoes. "
"We tracked the Yacht, We got a Security team searching it now" Townsend told the two. "We need get you both out while we can, We can have the other team find the captain"
"We need to evacuate the crew while we are not getting shot at by the Gorn. Evacuation under fire is not pretty!" Said Moo.
"Then lets pack up and get the hell out of here," Ardon agreed.
Chris then tapped his comm badge =/\=Townsend to Halo, Beam Alpha team up=/\= Townsend said.
They were then beamed to the Halo
